Preston got to be in a parade at school for reading so many books. This is a big thing for him. See with him moving from Virgina to Georgia he was a month behind them. So he had a lot of work cut out for him. But we got him caught up and he was able to earn his shirt and march in the parade.

Look at the proud boy!!

What kind of face is that??

Here he is marching around the school. It was all the kids up to grade school. I thought that it was really cool. A proud thing for the kids and to keep them excited about reading.

Well this is the start of the kids tree house. Preston has been asking Grandpa Rick to come and build him a tree house.
So mom and Rick surprised us a day early with all of this lumber on there trailer all the way from Indiana. Rick has been working on it for awhile. He cut all the stuff planned it all out then put it together. After that he took it apart. He had some help with it. My grandpa came and help with some things and when Anne and Mike visited Indiana over thanks giving they helped as well. So this tree house means a lot to us. I think that I was more excited about it than the kids.
So now we have a tree house to build! Yeah!!

Mom doing some painting.
We are painting it the opposite colors of the house.

Jason and Rick carrying some cement to the tree house.
